Artbeat Montreal et Ausgang Plaza présentent une série d’ateliers Loop Sessions pour la saison 2021-22 avec nul autre que LINA DONO qui fournira la sélection pour la neuvième édition!
Cette nouvelle formule comprend l’activité d’échantillonage et de production musicale Loop Sessions avec un volet entrevue ainsi qu’une démonstration avec l’artiste invité, le tout diffusé en direct sur Twitch à partir de 20h dans le cadre du programme Beat Broadcast.

Déroulement:
• 20h le 26 Février: Les participants s’inscrivent en remplissant le formulaire, ce qui permettra de télécharger la sélection fournie par l’invité. Une fois complété, le formulaire contiendra aussi le lien pour nous rejoindre sur Zoom pour participer au Beat Broadcast.
• 20h le 26 Février – 20h le 27 Février: Les participants s’adonnent à l’activité de production musicale, incorporant au moins un élément de la sélection fournie dans leur composition, pour ensuite nous les envoyer au beats@loopsessions.ca
• 20h-21h le 27 Février: Première partie de la diffusion Beat Broadcast, avec l’échange entre animateur et invité ainsi qu’une démonstration de leur démarche créative via l’exploration d’une session d’enregistrement appartenant à l’invité, donnant un aperçu intime sur leur procédé.
• 21h-23h le 27 Février: Deuxième partie de la diffusion, où nous écoutons à tour de rôle les productions des participants en groupe. Gros sons au rendez-vous!
[EN]Artbeat Montreal and Ausgang Plaza present a series of Loop Sessions workshops for the 2021-22 season, featuring the one & only LINA DONO who will be providing the selection for the ninth edition!
This new format combines the traditional Loop Sessions sampling and music production exercise with an interview component as well as a demonstration with the guest artist, live on Twitch as of 8pm EST as part of the Beat Broadcast.

Here’s how it’s going down:
• 8pm on February 26th: Participants must register by completing the online form, allowing them to download the selection provided by the guest. Once completed, the form will also contain the link to join us on Zoom to participate in Beat Broadcast.
• 8pm Feb 26th – 8pm Feb 27th: Participants take part in the beatmaking workshop, incorporating at least one element from the selection provided in their composition, then send their productions to beats@loopsessions.ca
• 8 pm-9pm on February 27th: First part of the Beat Broadcast, featuring the exchange between the host and guest as well as a demonstration of their creative process via the exploration of a production session belonging to the guest, providing an inside look at their approach.
• 9 pm-11pm on February 27th: Second half of the Broadcast, where we take turns listening to the participants’ productions in a group. Bangers on deck!
